Introduction of main topic:

Introduction of main topic The reason why I chose this topic is to explain the importance on Forensics. It actually takes a big role in society because it catches people who have done crimes so they wont do it again in the future, so it basically stops crime form happening over and over again.

What is Forensic Science?:

What is Forensic Science? Is also called Forensics. Forensics means a public discussion. It also helps the court get evidence so they could use it in court. It is the practical application of numerous sciences to solve legal system-related questions.

Scene of Crime:

Scene of Crime The scene of the crime is where it all happened. They actually have to investigate in the scene in order to come to conclusions on what happened there.

The Autopsy:

The Autopsy An autopsy is the examination of the body after death. Performed by a Pathologist or coroner. It helps the investigation because it reveals the cause of death the weapon

…Autopsy:

…Autopsy that was used and the time of death. It is also done to see if the victim was murdered or died a natural death.

Piecing the Identity :

Piecing the Identity This is one of the hardest things to do. Consists of different types of investigations done such as: facial reconstruction, DNA matching, blood analysis.

Tracing together the evidence:

Tracing together the evidence This step would have to be the most important of them all. Any type of clue would be helpful if it is from a piece of hair to a fingerprint. EVERY criminal leaves a trace no mater how careful he/she is.

Narrowing the suspects:

Narrowing the suspects The main purpose for this procedure is to eliminate unlikely suspects and investigate deeper in other suspects. Psychological profiling, handwriting and voice analysis may help in this procedure.

Murder tools.:

Murder tools. The murder weapon often holds evidence that is extremely useful for the investigation such as finger prints motives or origin of the murder.

Crimes of Stealth:

Crimes of Stealth Computer crimes have been a big issue since the development of computers have been developed. These are some of the crimes that have been done: Art imitation, email crimes, tracking counterfeit.

Cases Studied:

Conclusion:

Conclusion What I learned about forensics is that we actually need to investigate more stuff than I thought before. It is not only doing work in a lab, the person would actually have to travel to the crime scene, the coroner, and many more places. It would actually be very interesting being a forensics scientists since you not only stick to doing one thing, you have to do many.
