In 1993, he Graduated from Gulliver Preparatory School, Florida

Then he went to study business at University of Miami

Started his career in 1995

with his first album in Spanish, titled “Enrique Iglesias” (A collection of light rock ballads) The record sold half a million copies in its first week and the album went to win Iglesias a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance in 1996 "Si tú te vas" (Eng.: If You Go) is the title of the first single released by Enrique Iglesias.
