This is a story about a most famous Greek singer Nana Muskouri.

Slide 4: 

Nana Muskouri is a Greek singer in retirement. She is one of the most successful female recording artist, she sold over 250 million records. She usually sings about her dreams and life .

Slide 5: 

She also has time to raise a family, be a member of European parlament, and an ambassador of Unicef. She sings so many stiles and languages too. She is recently retiring from the stage , but she still enjoy slistening to her records.

Slide 6: 

She made a book on a theme where she came from and how she became a star. We asked her why she wrote a book , she answered : Public has given me so much , so i give them the right to know about me and how i became a star. She started singing when she was 25.

Slide 7: 

Her father was a gambler and he lost a lot of money on that. When she was a young girl , she really liked singing on the stage . She says : When i sang there , I felt very happy, everything else is far away in moment of singing on the stage .

Slide 8: 

She first started to sing in pubs , then on radios and that is how she got on the singing stage. The first song she sang in German became a huge hit. Now after 50 years on the stage, she is finally out of her business.

She sang her last concert in foot of Acropolis. She says it was the way to say ‘‘thank you’’ to all the people who wrote songs for her , and who helped her in her music career.
