It is in Germany and it talks about their history and making pianos. Enjoy. Slide 3: The Bechstein company prepared 8 instruments for two pianists which had to choose a grand piano for their concert. The manager of the concert came there with the sponsor too. If everything goes well, they’ll buy one of the grand pianos. It’ll take about several hours to test 8 instruments.Slide 4: Nauki Jamanchi adjusts pianos. The tuna has to be a sound imagition.. About 100 times he takes out every piano’s mechanism until he adjusts everything.Slide 5: Tunning and adjusting pianos isn’t an easy work at all. Every grand piano sounds somehow different.Slide 6: The 2 pianists want to play a concert for more than 1000 people. For that reason, a grand piano which they will choose, has to sound strong but still musically.Slide 7: After the 2nd world war the Bechstein company lost many musicians. Things once were very different. A piano maker Carl Bestain found a piano factory in Berlin and he was actually able to convince a large number of musicians to start making pianos. They invent this warm sound of a piano.Slide 8: After the 2nd world war, Bechstein was on their knees. The Americans took over the company, but they didn’t even administrate it. The company seemed to have no future. But everything changed in 1986. when another piano maker Carl Shortrer bought the factory.Slide 9: …And this is where all the pianos have been made since then. Almost completely by the hand. At the time, hardly anyone understood why Bechstein didn’t just go to Czech Republic. Because the town in which was Bechstein was Czech’s and German’s. Everyone thought that the company would have a greater career in it. These days in the German part of the town has one of the most moder production for piano in the whole world.Slide 10: There’s no such a big difference between how we make pianos today and how people made pianos before.Slide 11: Bechstein has a meeting on which they present their pianos to people. Bechstein wants to meet other companies on the meeting and have some dials with them.Slide 12: Companies of Bechstein doesn’t exist just in Germany. They’re all round the world. In China, Indonesia, Czech, etc. Each their piano costs about 100 000 euros.Slide 13: The buyers of Bechstein pianos come all over the world too.
