The idea of recycle hotel is nothing new. Around the world ships and trains have been converted into the hotels.

In Stockholm they ‘ ve taken the idea one step further . We have all been here before, waiting around for hours and hours at airport for a flights sometimes even through the night.

Soon,in Stockholm, jumbo hostels are going to be more convenient and certainly more comfortable alternative.

Stockholm has many high quality hotels but now it has a hotel that literally used to be a jet-set.

The Jumbo Hostel is a retired jumbo-jet of Stockholm which is curently being converted in to airport hotel. For people in airport this project is a perfect match.

The Jumbo Hostel will offer twenty nine rooms with three beds in each suits, share toilets and showers including luxury cockpit suite. It will cost between 100-130 € for a room.

Once the hostel rooms are complet e , they’ ll offer up today fligh t information s , free internet acces, coffe and will only be a 10 minute ride from check-in. That won ‘ t cause anxiety to it ‘ s passengers.

For construction workers, it is the biggest construction chalenge-building hostel inside of the airplane. The hull is in atmosfere and now it ‘ s standing on the ground confroting with sorts of new condiction.

Each room will have 6 meters square. Hosts will also be welcoming day visitors and hopes that jumbo hostel will become a land mark touriste atraction in Stockholm.
