What is spam?:

What is spam? Most people who have e-mail account know what is spam. Spam is usualy in unwanted e-mails, also called junk mail. Spam is usualy advertisement link, but not always.

Are you careful?:

Are you careful? Sometimes we waste time reading stupid e-mails which contain spam. But spam can be dangerous. It can infect our computers and make damage or loss of data.

History of spam:

History of spam There are thousands of unwanted e-mails. Antivirus companies invest lot of money to block and delete spams. Spam is discovered before 30 years. The name “Spam” cames from canned meat.

Kaspersky lab:

Kaspersky lab Andrey Nikishin, computer expert from Kaspersky lap believes that spam is the battle which can be won. There are some ways to get rid of spams.

Use safe web browser:

Use safe web browser A lot of spams come in pop-up window, so we must turn on pop-up blocker. Some spams steal our personal information, our data. We must know something about link we are going to. Better browsers are Firefox, Google Chrome, IE 8 and Opera.

Use stable operating system:

Use Windows, Linux, Mac OS... Most of people use Microsoft Windows Xp. Xp is fast, but not very safe. Use windows update to be safe. If you are afraid of data loss, use Windows Vista or 7 because they are stable and very safe. Use stable operating system

Do not forget your antivirus software:

Do not forget your antivirus software To get rid of mail spams you must have internet protection and firewall. Better antivirus software has web acess protection and real-time system protection.

Some antivirus programs:

Some antivirus programs There are AVG, Avira, Panda and McAfee. They are not best. If you have some free antivirus, it’s better or have full one. Antivirus must be up to date to get full protection.

What is your antivirus?:

What is your antivirus? Do not use two antivirus program at the time. One antivirus is virus for second antivirus program. If you use two antivirus programs, you are not fully protected. There are Avast, Trend Micro, Sophos and Norton.

My choice is NOD32:

My choice is NOD32 Best antivirus software usualy requies purchased password to update. There are ESET Smart Security and NOD32, BitDefender and Kaspersky antivirus. It’s safe to use one of these antivirus software (Don’t forget to enter password ).
