Slide 3:
Dominic Eslavo from Philipines wants to know where does gold come from. Back to middle ages tierd magic spells and experimented with cinebar and mercury to take gold but it was all in vain.
Slide 4:
That’s because the gold was created in other space. But not in our Sun. The Sun is a huge nucleus reactor that fuses light weight element hydrogen to from helium under hig pressure and temperatures more dan 6000 degrees celsius.
Slide 5:
But gold is a lot heavier than helium and very heavy elements can originate only in stars that weigh a lot more than the Sun. The pressure has to be greater and temperatures a lot higher.
Slide 6:
Only when one of these stars explodes at the end of it’s life time, there is enough energy to produce the haviest elements. That it’s from these comic fireworks the gold emerges.
Slide 7:
The Sun and the planets were formed from dust and gass from such expiosions. And Earth incorporated this cosmic gold. It’s the gold that people like to wear as jewelly today.
