This presentation is about beautiful and special weddings. In Finland you can get a team of professional designers to do the job properly – your wedding. Designer’s shoes, designer’s furniture, everything to make the day as beautiful as possible.

Slide 3: 

Thirty-three years old Ulla-Maaria Mutanen and thirty years old Judie Engenst Ferm are getting married. Their wedding is a project of many designers in Finland called : ”It’s a beautiful day”. The couple been together for five years and they never consider about wedding. Than they heard for wedding project organize by eight international designers.

Slide 4: 

“It happened at party, where we met with Laura, who is the manager of this project and Laura is friend of mine.. And we started to talk about designs and relationships,. . And in one moment Laura mention the wedding project and I was overjoyed.” The bride

Slide 5: 

The first designs of wedding project came from Alva-Alter academy in Finland. Dai Fujiwara, designer for Issey Miyake, designed the wedding dress for a bride. “This shape is designe of crystal of the snow, so we use the snow crystal to make a dress for wedding, because snow colour is white and a wedding colour is also white..”

Slide 6: 

Unusual designs from the top to the bottom have the couple. Shoes comes from Spain, designers chairs comes from France, and the best of atmosphere creates white candles.

Slide 7: 

WEDDING RINGS “You can make a ring to somebody by binding the filament around the finger. Idea came from the fact that I have a girlfriend who did not want to marry me. And I have this (filament) and I thought that, it will be perfect wedding ring. Because it’s nice, and it’s wear of during the day and you have to make another – new ring every day again and again. So you have to marry this person every day again and again. Ikka Suppanen

After the wedding in the church, ceremony went to the reception of hotel-museum. It is stylistic, too. The wedding couple invite their friends to a designe museum-hotel. In that restaurant were all their relatives, friends, parents.. They all came to celebrate their wedding as properly as they can.
