A lot of popular rock bands, like U2, come from there. Five hundred thousand people live there. O’Connell street is the Dublin’s main shopping area. General Post Office : General Post Office It is the headquarters of the Irish Postal Services. It is also the place where the Irish republicans proclaimed independence from Britian in 1916. Viewing platform : Viewing platform Viewing platform belongs to the Guinness factory. Brewery is the city’s main turist attraction. It was founded nearly 250 years ago. The Guinness stout is made of fresh fountain water, barley, hops and yeast. Guinness family : Guinness family They made many donations to the city of Dublin. And they financed the restoration of Saint Patrick’s cathedral. It’s the biggest cathedral in Ireland and it was completed in 1191. Literally capital : Literally capital Dublin is also famous as a literally capital. Several museums like the Dublin writers museum explore the lives of the world famous authors who were born in the city. O’Donoghue’s : O’Donoghue’s O’Donoghue’s is one of the oldest known pubs in the city. They play live traditional Irish music every day. Tourists come there from all over the world. Many of the larger pubs in Ireland put on traditional Irish dances.
