That was only a test flight in 2009. It flew all the way to Germany to have floor, luggage compartment and seats fitted. The exterior was painted and it was a “race against time” but they made it.Slide 3: A few days later a party was held in the hangar to celebrate the occasion. Enormous plane arrived, causing a strong applause from the audience. The crew started to pull the plane into the hangar as the audience moved to make way for the great A380.Slide 4: It took more than a year to build this plane. It has seats for 525 passangers in the economic class. The whole project invloved a huge amount of work and cash investment. The plane is designed to fly at least 20-25 years.Slide 5: The first class can accomodate 853 passangers, in very luxury condition. By the surveys first class sections are quiet and comfortable. In A380 the first class seats are wide and can fold into two meter long beds.Slide 6: The highlight of the whole A380 is the first class bathroom. There aren’t any showers but there is a lot of space. That is a big disadvantage beacause some competing airlines offer them too. Passangers like to have shower half an hour before landing because they sleep all the time.Slide 7: The ticket for the first class costs 12.000 €. There are 853 seats in the first class alone. The upper deck accomodates 644 buisness passangers seats. If it is needed A380 will accomodate 2.000 passangers.Slide 8: On June 11th the A380 is going to Tokio. The giant of the skies is 73m long, 79.8m wide,24.1m high. It weight’s 276.8t, it can fly at the speed of 1020 km/h.Questions: What is the full name of the A380? Where was it made?
