Introduction to Wh-Question Words :

Introduction to Wh-Question Words Produce more complete writing by answering wh-question words to help with description. Use: Who? person What? o bject/idea/action Where? place When? time Why? reason How? manner Examples: Lisa is my mother’s best friend. = Who? They became friends in 1960 . = When? They met at the local park . = Where?

Guided Practice Work with a partner. Tell each other who your best friend is. Choose one wh-question word and write a sentence about your best friend answering it. Share your sentences with the class.
