Types of “Rooms” In Hotels

Single Room:

Single Room It is the room which provide single occupancy. This room only have single bed.

Double Room:

Double Room It is the room which provide double occupancy. This room have double bed.

Triple Room:

Triple Room It is the room which provide occupancy for 3 people. Either it have 2 double & 1 single beds OR 3 single beds.

Quad Room:

Quad Room It is the room which provide occupancy for 4 people. Either it have 2 double beds OR 2 singles & 1 double bed.

Twin Room:

Twin Room It is the room which provide double occupancy. This room have 2 single separates beds.

Hollywood Room:

Hollywood Room It is the room which provide double occupancy. The bed in this room is movable or attachable; hence it is called as “Hollywood Room”.

Studio Room:

Studio Room A studio room is designed with the minimum basic requirement to live its made of a room open to a kitchen and has a small bathroom in it, and usually it has an attached wardrobes. its meant for those who cannot afford a 1 bedroom (which is made of a 1 bed room + hall)

Parlor Room:

Parlor Room A living or sitting room; a room not use as a bedroom.

Cabana Room:

Cabana Room It is the room which is situated near swimming pool. This room is used for changing purpose.

Suite Room:

Suite Room A combination on or more bedroom & a parlour. It may also contain a bar & small kitchen

Penthouse:

Penthouse A room that opens onto the roof & may be accompanied by a swimming pool, patio, a tennis court, & other facilities & amenities.

Executive Room:

Executive Room A room that has a large bedroom with a sitting area, provided with chairs & usually a sofa & coffee table. This is really a combination bedroom-cum-sitting room.
