How to maintain healthy skin? : How to maintain healthy skin? Proper Ahara Proper vihara Proper Ahara : Proper Ahara Drink plenty of water, butter milk and lemon juice daily. Have fresh vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes), fruits (citrus), sprouts, milk, ghee, honey, flax seeds & sunflower seeds. Avoid alcohol, coffee, hot, spicy, oily and dehydrating foods. Proper vihara : Proper vihara Daily full body massage-with sesame oil/coconut oil/mustard oil or medicated herbal oil- -10-15 minutes Cleansing-with a mixture of aromatic herbal powders like ushira, chandana, mustaka and flour daily after exercise. Warm water bath—cleanses the skin, removes dirt and germs, improves circulation, refreshing to the mind and body Exercise : Exercise Regular exercise like walking, jogging or yoga after abhyanga/oil massage.. Yoga Strong muscles tight, healthy skin. Perfect Agni : Perfect Agni Agni is responsible for the health of the skin. Proper digestion and free bowel movement healthy skin Peaceful mind : Peaceful mind Peaceful mind healthy skin Meditation, yoga, hobbies, games etc. relaxation Face-Care : Face-Care Scrubs– Trifala, Vacha, Lodhra, chandana, Nimba, Ushira Base for the scrubs-Moong-for normal skin, chana dal-for oily skin and Masur dal for dry skin Herbs for mask - Haridra, Arjuna, lodhra, Methika Base for mask-water for normal, honey or water for oily, milk/ghee/water for dry skin. Anti wrinkle : Anti wrinkle Proper diet, skin care, peaceful mind, proper sleep. Wrinkle preventing herbs--Lemon, Neem, Gooseberry, Methi, Yashtimadhu.
