How shall I practice it? :How shall I practice it? Bhagavat Mahapurana (11/14/32-35) describes it! – Like a fine thread of lotus stalk and like a continuous, tapering sound of a bell
‘O’ should be shorter than ‘M’

Bhagwad Mahapurana (XI/14/32-35) :Bhagwad Mahapurana (XI/14/32-35) 32,33- Seated on a seat not too elevated nor too low, with body straight and hand in the lap. Eyes half closed and appearing to gaze at the nose, one should purify the path by which the Prana is functioning by the practice of Anuloma Viloma Pranayama.
34 – Like a fine thread of lotus stalk & like a continuous peel of a bell, the mystic sound of Omkar is extending from the Muladhara chakra up. By the regulation of the Prana, this mystic sound should be raised to the heart and made clearly manifest their.
35 – In this way Pranayama and Prana (Omkara) should be praticed ten times during the morning, evening and night.
By practicing like this for a month, sufficient control over breath is gained.
