Login to Facebook: 1.) Login to Facebook Head over to http://www.facebook.com and login. Since Facebook’s most recent change, “New” fan pages (those that do not contain any existing “Notes”), have to try and ‘hunt down’ the right place to find the import RSS Feed. This document shows you how to find the tricky little bugger and is accurate as of April 2010.2.) Ads and Pages: 2.) Ads and Pages Once logged in… Click on “Ads and Pages” in your left-menu (NB: Left-menu in ‘Home’ not ‘Profile’) 3.) Edit Page: 3.) Edit Page It should now give you a list of pages where you are an admin. Click on "Edit Page" under the Fan page where you wish to import your RSS feed.4.) Notes: 4.) Notes Scroll down to the “Notes” application and click on Edit.5.) Write a Note: 5.) Write a Note Click on the "Write a New Note" button. NB: If you have written notes or imported a blog in the past, you will already see the option to Import a blog. (Like the image to the right). If this is you, skip to Slide #8 But if you have a new Fan Page, continue as you won’t see this option yet.6.) Notes icon: 6.) Notes icon Click on the little ‘Notes’ icon as per image below: 7.) Import a blog: 7.) Import a blog You will now see the Import a blog option Click on Import a Blog8.) Start Importing: 8.) Start Importing N.B. If you have a self-hosted Wordpress blog, you can also import a specific category of your blog, as I have done in the example above. Type in your RSS Feed URL e.g: http://yourdomain.com/feed Agree to Facebook’s terms Click ‘Start Importing’. 9.) Confirm Import: 9.) Confirm Import You should see a preview listing of all your blog posts - and if all looks well, click on Confirm Import10.) Finished: 10.) Finished You've now finished setting it up. Final Result: Notes tab: Final Result: Notes tab Visit your Fan Page and go to your ‘Notes’ tab. The notes tab will now display all your imported posts and automatically import future posts from your blog (or category)Final Result: Wall tab: Final Result: Wall tab The home page (Wall tab) of your Fan Page will also get a copy of the new notes.
