INTRODUCTION WHAT IS OPTIMIZATION? _ It is a process through which soft(cell reselect,BTS power) and hard ( mechanical tilt, azimuth) parameters of the BTS are varied WHY OPTIMIZATION? _ In accuracy of radio planning _ implementation _ environment _ Besides it monitors the key perfomance indicators(KPIs) in order to keep them in agreed limits with the mobile operator SOME KPIs ARE : _ Paging success rate or call success rate _ Call drop rate _ Handover success rate
