Slide 3: Westernization means: Assimilation of Western culture, which means social process of becoming familiar with or converting to the customs and practices of Western civilization Slide 4: There are so many good as well as bad things, which we can follow and which we can ignore, in those so many things here are some of the good things which we can follow from the Western Culture. Discipline Self Dependency Commitment to Work Positive Attitude Food Habit's They work for the National Integrity and we have so many things which we have got from westerns and which are used daily example:....... Slide 6: Indian Constitution is borrowed from Westerns Police Department in India also is a contribution of western culture Postal and Telegraph Railways etc...... are the good things what India is having because of the Westernization Slide 7: Leaving all above specified there are still many more things which we can follow from western world in this materialistic world for our day to day usage like TypeWriters, Computers, Automobile goods and so on........ Slide 8: There’s no harm in taking good things from western but this does not mean that we should completely adopt it and pretend to be western and misrepresent our identity and we should not forget our Culture also And talking about honesty, well the western world is not looking to India for it, Indian government and business people are not setting particularly good example............ : And talking about honesty, well the western world is not looking to India for it, Indian government and business people are not setting particularly good example............ We have assumed, taken, distorted, and misused quite a few things which is not western i.e., Disrespect for others, arguing for nothing, uncivil behavior, taunting ladies, etc. has increased a lot in the cities of India : We have assumed, taken, distorted, and misused quite a few things which is not western i.e., Disrespect for others, arguing for nothing, uncivil behavior, taunting ladies, etc. has increased a lot in the cities of India Slide 13: India is still the greatest and has the best of many thingsVillagers are still simply great people, but the cheap imitation in the "elite" group has done more damage than good. Westernization and Modernization : Westernization and Modernization There is so much difference between Westernization and Modernization people think both as same, but MODERNIZATION means..... Slide 15: Making modern in appearance or behavior or making renovations, revision or adjustments in particular Slide 16: One thing should be always kept in mind that western world is looking India for its honesty and its rich Cultural heritage.
