A travel course combines in-class learning with travel experience to a country other than the US. You’ll learn about the history, art, society and culture of Italy before travelling, and you’ll see examples of each while on tour. Academic study and travel are independent but interconnected If you decide to not earn MCLA credits, you can still travel The travel course credits are elective, and they don’t count towards your major, minor or concentration.
