The Famous Bakersfield Sign After the sign fell into disrepair, it was rescued by Buck Owens and moved from its location on Union Ave. to the entrance of his nightclub.

Beale Clock Tower The original downtown Bakersfield clock tower on Chester Ave. was demolished in the 1952 Kern County earthquake. It was rebuilt in 1964 and now stands at Pioneer Village.
