Introduction To Robotics:

Introduction To Robotics A Robot is an autonomous self controlled Mechanical or electrical device capable of making of intelligent decisions to work in real time environments A robot can work with/without human intervention and is capable of working in areas or places where it is too hostile for people to enter.

Objective of the project:

Objective of the project The robot to follow the action referred by human activities. The module is based of wheel based robot. Here we can use human sensor as well as object sensor

Technical Overview:

Technical Overview For this project the sensor used is the DHMS150 human motion sensor. Its range is typically 100-500cm. Its general usage includes General purpose security alarm and human presence and motion sensing in robotic systems.

Electronic control system (microcontroller) It constantly monitors the digitized parameters of the various sensors and verifies them with the predefined threshold values and checks if any corrective action is to be taken for the condition at that instant of time . In case such a situation arises, it activates the actuators to perform a controlled operation .

Theory of Operation:

Theory of Operation The DHMS150 module senses the heat (infrared radiation) from a living warm blooded source and deduces the direction of heat source and also the direction of motion of heat source.

Theory of operation When using the DHM5150 with the robot system, user can simply connect the module to one of the human sensor module connectors on the AT89sS52 controller board and the AT89S52 built sensor along with device driver will take care of the data acquisition system. When using the DHM5150 with third party controller, the power supply and the input/output signal should be coerced properly . the controller can get the human information data via an analog to digital conversion
