This companies select the strategy of locating a branch in the foreign markets and extend the same domestic operations into foreign markets. Example- Colgate,Pepsico,PG.MNC.: MNC. Any corporation that is registered and operates in more than one country at a time; also called a multinational corporation. Example- Reliance GroupGLOBAL COMPANY: GLOBAL COMPANY A company which follows the global strategy is called as global company. This company either produces in home country or in single country and focuses on single country and focuses on marketing these products globally, or produces the products globally and focuses on marketing these products domestically. Example- UniliverTRANSNATIONAL COMPANY: TRANSNATIONAL COMPANY It is an integrated global enterprise that links global resources with global markets at profit. There is no pure transnational corporation. However, most of the transnational companies satisfy many of the characteristics of global companies Example-Coca cola,PepsiTNC.: TNC. A transnational, or multinational, corporation has its headquarters in one country and operates wholly or partially owned subsidiaries in one or more other countries. MNE is any business which has productive activities in two or more countries and manufactures and markets products and services in different countries.
