Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Slide 3: 

Every believer, YWAM student or staff should learn to share their personal testimony for the following three reasons:

1. It breaks pride. James 4:6 “…God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

Slide 5: 

2. It breaks the past. 2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Read Also: John 8:32 and 8:36

3. It breaks people. -touches their lives “…and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” - Acts 4:13 Read Also: Acts 2:37; 5:33; 7:54, 57; Acts 11:21

Divide into groups of 3 or more and practice sharing your testimony in 3 minutes or less. Your team mates should be listening for three distinctions: 1) Past Life 2) Conversion Experience and 3) Present Life. Example: “When I was younger, I lied and cheated all the time until I repented of all my sins at age 20 and Jesus forgave me and gave me a new life. Now I embrace a life of honesty and truth following Him” APPLICATION PRACTICE…
