Facing Temptation : Facing Temptation Identify what we need to change. Knowledge Sin....................(“take off”) – Stop it! Obedience..........(“put on”) – Start it! Decide to change! Knowledge alone will not bring about change. Facing Temptation : Facing Temptation WE MUST STOP IMPURE THOUGHTS IN ORDER TO END IMPURE ACTIONS. “We (are to) demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) Facing Temptation : Facing Temptation “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But live in the fear of the LORD always.” - Proverbs 23:17 Facing Temptation : Facing Temptation 2.
