This training will enable the user to learn the basic operation of the audiovisual system. The system was designed to promote flexibility and ease of use, maximizing the experience of the presenter and audiences alike. A brilliant 8.4" active-matrix SVGA display and 16-bit color depth combine to produce stunning 3D graphics using new dynamic menu objects, dynamic graphics, animations, multimode objects, PNG translucency, and exclusive Synapse™ image rendering – all with astonishing speed. Slide 6: AV Systems Integration by: The Video System Video is presented on a Plasma screen and Motorized Projection Screen. Video sources are selected and operated using the touch screen interface. A desktop input cable cubby allows users to connect a laptop computer to the system. Slide 7: AV Systems Integration by: The Audio System The system features an audio input and distribution system. An audio and video conferencing feature is available which includes number of microphones. Audio is played through ceiling speakers. Slide 8: AV Systems Integration by: The Conferencing System The room is equipped and configured to conduct audio and video conference calls. This system allows users to communicate to audiences throughout world. Number of microphones are connected to the system. Full calling and volume control is done via the touch screen interface. Slide 9: AV Systems Integration by: The Control System The audiovisual system is controlled using an Crestron touch screen interface. The touch screen provides users with full control over the system, including volume control, source selection, video conferencing, voice conferencing, and system power. The touch screen utilizes simple one press buttons to execute the necessary automated commands. This provides the user with easy control over video and audio signal routing. Slide 10: AV Systems Integration by: System Configuration - General This section introduces users to basic system operation procedures using the touch screen. Please refer QRG and Touch panel user instructions detail for Start-up, applications, settings and shutdown procedures. Start the WiFi Touch Panel: The touch screen remains powered on indefinitely. If left unattended, the touch screen will revert to power-save mode and the screen will go blank. To begin, simply touch the screen’s surface and the Start page will load. Press the screen again to load the system's Main Menu page. A desktop input cable cubby supports video and stereo audio using standard VGA and 3.5mm stereo audio cables. Most PC laptops feature VGA out ports, however to connect an apple laptop, use a USB - to – VGA or DVI – to – VGA converter. Connecting a Laptop: Connect a laptop to the input cable cubby using the provided VGA and 3.5mm stereo audio cable (if applicable). Turn on the laptop. Configure the laptop to display to an external video source. Switching to an external monitor is usually is one of the function keys (i.e. Function +F3 or F5 or F8). Consult the laptop’s manual or help files for more information.
