Having and following a good and a proper evony guide can really help you at the start of a new server. It shows you how to build resources, build your city and gain prestige faster than other new players. Many more information needed to become successful on Evony but this will set you off on the right direction.

H ere are a few tips that will help you be less of a target and will help you play the game more smarter :

There are two things why most bigger players will attack smaller players in the evony game. And these things are the Resources and Prestige . If they will not get either then they might be less likely to attack. If an attacking player wants resources or prestige then make sure they get neither.

You have to keep your marketplace at level 4 before you come out of beginners protection. When there is someone is attacking you and you have no chance to protect it you still got two options. The first option is to use all your resources building defenses or troops.

So now this attacking army has no more resources to take since you have them used. The second option is to sell all your resources in the market for very high prices. Since all your resources are too much expensive, of course there is nobody will buy them.

And then you can be able to get all your resources back by canceling your sale in the market after the attack. Or else you can store them in the marketplace. The attackers will get no resources so they might recall there troops.

When there is other player will attack and destroy your city just to earn prestige, then there are two tips on how the attacking player will get nothing. The first tip is, if your city is getting attacked by an army you can't defend against then send all your troops out to attack a valley close to your city.

So this means you will have no troops for the attackers to kill. The second tip is, in order attackers won't destroy the wall defenses you must close/secure your city gates before the attack.
