Requirement : 

Requirement 1. What do I need to access iConnect Voice? You need to have installed Adobe Flash Player A computer headset (recommended) or single microphone This tool is optimized for Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.0 Main Menu

Access : 

Access 2. How do I access my weekly posting? To access iConnect Voice you need to login using the link located in your course, under the “Pronunciation” tab. You will be prompted to a username and password screen. Use your D# as your username and birthday (yyyymm) as the password Be sure you select the right section before posting your audio Main Menu

Posting : 

Posting 3. How do I post and record? After ensuring you are in the correct section, please select the week for your posting; for example, week 1 Listen to the instructor’s pronunciation, located in the top of the blog Go to the “Post new comment” section by scrolling down in the page, and type in the subject area your name and week. For instance, Joe Smith – week 1. Then click on the “add Audio-only Comment”. The first time, a dialog will show asking for settings. Please select “Allow” and “remember” to ensure this happens just once.

Posting 2 : 

Posting 2 3. How do I post and record? Before recording, please ensure you have your microphone plugged in and your settings are correct in your computer. You can watch the Windows XP or Windows Vista video configuration Click the record button and talk, then save it A code will be added to the comments section, Please don’t delete it since this is your recording. Finally, click “Post Comment” and your recording will be posted. Main Menu

Webcam : 

Webcam 4. Can I post using my Webcam? You can post your voice recordings using your Webcam; however, it is not required. Main Menu

Download : 

Download 5. Can I download the voice recordings? You can download the voice recordings by clicking on the “download audio” link located below the speaker icon. The file is a “flv” (flash) format and you can play it with any flash player. Main Menu

Upload : 

Upload 6. Can I upload my own voice recordings? You can upload your own voice recordings; however, it is recommended that you create the recording with the provided tool. To upload a recording, select the “File attachments” option, located below the section where you record your voice. You can upload MP3 and WAV files no more than 7 Megabytes. Main Menu

Editing : 

Editing 7. Why do I have double audio postings when I try to edit my recording? The audio tool is optimized for Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2 . If you are using Internet Explorer 6, you may have this issue. To resolve the issue, please close the internet browser and try to edit it again. Main Menu

Code : 

Code 8. Why do I have a strange code in my comments area when I create my recording? The code is part of the process of adding the voice recording. Please do not delete or try to edit the code. You can add your comments in the top or below the code, as shown in the figure. Main Menu

Delete : 

Delete 9. Can I delete the postings I create? You can’t delete the postings you create. If you have posted in the wrong section, please inform your instructor to resolve the issue. Main Menu
