Proprietary Quantitative Stock Ranking System Each stock in our database is ranked, and placed into one of six categories using our proprietary quantitative ranking system. The system was designed to evaluate an individual stock’s long-term buying or selling pressure. Buying is limited to positively ranked stocks. Those stocks categorized into the solid green “plus” sign are typically the best candidates for long purchases. Selling is limited to negatively ranked stocks. Those stocks categorized into the solid red “minus” sign are typically the best candidates for short sells. A stock’s ranking moves further to the right as its selling pressure becomes more sustained. A stock’s ranking moves further to the left as its buying pressure becomes more sustained.
