Latest technologies used in Dental Care

“ In the last few decades advances in fields such as orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry consumers in Dubai now have many options to choose from when it comes to healthy dental care.

Teeth Whitening Teeth whitening is a popular procedure amongst Dubai folk probably due to the fact that it is the least invasive of all the cosmetic dental procedures. Teeth whitening can be done in the clinic or at home. Our ZOOM whitening is done at the office and can be completed in one visit. A special lotion is applied to protect the gums and the whitening gel is then applied. Our special ZOOM light is turned on which activates the gel. This can be repeated upto four times in one session with each application being about 15 minutes long. Special trays are prepared for at home treatments based on individual requirements.

Veneers Veneers are porcelain coatings that are designed to fit on the teeth. They allow the freedom to alter the shape of the tooth thereby reducing gaps and fixing breakages. Veneers in Dubai are also used when there is discolouration of teeth. The first thing your dentist will do is shave down the enamel of the tooth you wish to cover. After that an impression is made to form the porcelain façade. This porcelain cap is then bonded onto the tooth. Our dental veneers can never be noticed as we will take care to match the colour to the remaining teeth.

Crowns A Dental Crown is a small cap made to fit on a tooth. It is used for a variety of purposes such as covering tooth decay or dental implants for broken teeth and to strengthen weak teeth. Dental crowns can be made in many materials such as ceramic all resins stainless steel and also metals such as gold.

Invisible Braces One of the greatest drawbacks when it comes to getting braces is the idea that one would have to live with a mouthful of metal for approximately two years. Advances in orthodontics have resulted in many new technologies that keep braces almost invisible to the untrained eye. For less severe corrections Invisalign braces are made out of a clear plastic that fits over the teeth like a retainer. There are even braces that fit behind the teeth.
