George Landegger – Making a Difference at Home George Landegger is a CEO philanthropist and strong advocate for education. George Landegger has helped make a difference at home through giving to a number of organizations and educational institutions that help lesser fortunate populations get ahead economically and academically. Landegger has created a pipeline to college for sixty scholarship students whom he mentors in Danbury CT starting in kindergarten and going through twelfth grade with six graduates a year from the Diocesan school system. He has also been the primary supporter of the Danbury Grassroots tennis and mentoring program which makes a demonstrable difference in the lives of sixty underprivileged children a year. He has been asked to accept the “Man of the Year” award on behalf of Immaculate High School and is coordinating with the newly appointed bishop to develop a technical track for Diocesan high schools. Check out this in-philanthropy post as well. Landegger was the principal founder of a fully equipped health clinic in rural El Salvador which serves 60 000 patients a year. He is also the main supporter and founder since 2007 of the AmeriKids camps a fresh air and mentoring program in the Catskills for low-income NYC children afflicted with HIV AIDS and
