How do we know the Bible is the Word of God? The scientist Peter Stoner, in his book Science Speaks, shared that the mathematical probability of just 8 Old Testament prophecies in being fulfilled would be one in 10 to 17th power. That is like taking 100,000,000,000,000,000 silver dollars and laying them over Texas. This would cover the whole state two feet deep. Mark one quarter and stir the whole mass up thoroughly. Blindfold a man and tell him to pick up one silver dollar. What chance would he have of getting the right one? This is a mathematical impossibility for all intensive purposes, it cannot be mere chance. The same chance that 8 prophecies of Messiah would be true in one man. We know through history that not just 8 but over 100 were proven true in Jesus Christ.
