The basis of GCS education is founded on the recognition and acknowledgement that God is the author of all truth, the Creator and Source of all wisdom. GCS believes that providing excellent Christ-centered education is a mandate from God. GCS strives to promote students’ spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth. Students should be grounded in Biblical moral values thus demonstrating faith in Jesus Christ, love of God and fellowmen, integrity and excellence in all areas. NURSERY (3 – 4 yrs of age) The Nursery Program is designed to develop the necessary skills for Reading, Language, Writing and Math by introducing basic concepts with English as the primary language. The program is intended to give emphasis to the social, spiritual and emotional development of the child, as well as physical development. Program runs from 10:30am to 1:00pm Our Curriculum Slide 8: Why Study @ GCS? KINDERGARTEN (4 - 5 yrs of age) The Kindergarten Program aims to ensure that children develop the basic learning skills through the introduction of Reading, Language, Writing, Science and Math concepts using different methodologies such as student’s self-discovery, guided instructions, sensorial, oral presentations and cooperative work. English language will be the medium of instructions. The program is designed to develop the social, spiritual, academic and physical growth of the child. The program runs from 7:30am – 10:30am Our Curriculum Slide 9: Why Study @ GCS? PREPARATORY (5 - 6 yrs of age) The main goal of the Preparatory Program is to provide students with an integrated curriculum where Language, Reading, Math , Writing and Science are developed through different teaching methodologies such as teacher-guided lessons, oral presentations, and cooperative work. Critical thinking, reasoning, emotional, spiritual and social growth and academic skills are reinforced to develop the students’ full potential.
