We will use the nominees submitted to determine the RAS nominee for the California Ambulance Association's "Stars of Life" program at their annual convention.To nominate a co-worker who has displayed STAR CARE, simple complete the form located at:Resource Center > View Links > Employee Forms > Star Care Nomination form RAS - eBoard RAS - eBoard RAS - eBoard ROAD CLOSURES : ROAD CLOSURES As you know, there are many on-going road projects in Merced County which will last for the next 18 months. To keep you advised of these on-going changes, we have developed a map which displays all known road closures and delays on a daily basis. Please check this page at the beginning and during your shifts to familiarize yourself with the latest traffic delays. That goes to show our employees are performing at a high level! Keep up the good work and collect and cash those Lucky Bucks! NEW and REVISED policies : NEW and REVISED policies A number of new and revised policies have been made in the most recent months. We are currently in the process of reviewing all policies. To view the latest changes to any policies, view them on NBS(Resource Center>Reading Room>Policies – New & Revised). A summary of each change is noted on the documents. DAILY DISPATCH LOGSARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE! : DAILY DISPATCH LOGSARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE! In order to assist you in completing your eTimesheet, we have made the daily dispatch logs available on Ninth Brain (in the Resource Center, under the Reading Room) and in a binder in the multi-purpose room. RAS - eBoard Health & Fitness : Health & Fitness RAS - eBoard Beginning in April, we will reimburse, on a quarterly basis, one months’ membership fee up to $25, to any employee who had a health & fitness membership, for the prior three (3) months. Please provide proof of membership dues paid during all three previous months to Melissa, and you will receive your incentive bonus. BE HEALTHY!! Bonus Month For Fees Paid in Months: April Jan – Feb – Mar July Apr – May – Jun October Jul – Aug – Sep January Oct – Nov – Dec Slide 11: RAS eBoard Instead of throwing away your rechargeable batteries and old cell phones, bring them to us! There is a battery recycle box near the SST area where you can drop off your old batteries and we’ll make sure they get to a recycling center. Batteries are one of the worst items to place in our landfills! There are large recycle bins in the shop area for disposal of plastics and cans! Slide 12: RAS eBoard 2008 CALIFORNIA STATE STATISTICS 4,312 people in California were killed in traffic crashes. 1,388 of these fatalities were a result of alcohol; this represents an average of one-third of all traffic fatalities in the State. 31,783 people suffered injuries in alcohol related collisions statewide. 2,186 pedestrians and bicyclists were killed or injured in collisions involving some degree of alcohol impairment. There were a total of 194,865 DUI arrests. 9,072 intoxicated drivers were fatally injured in single-vehicle crashes. Intoxicated drivers represent 60 percent of all alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities. A DUI will cost you more than just your job! You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
