Drug addiction is a real problem at present. There are many types of addictions. Drug addiction and alcohol addiction are some of them. When a person is addicted to any particular thing, then it is very difficult to come out. Recent scientific research has pointed out means by which these types of addictions can be got rid of.

There are many reasons for drug addictions. This is commonly a western phenomenon. Mainly the reasons for addiction are industrialization of economy, influence of western culture and weakening of geographical barriers. Some other reasons may be rapid urbanization and other socio–cultural factors. The adolescents are mainly addicted and there are distressful family backgrounds which are also responsible for their addiction. These addictions become at times so intense that a person cannot stay without the object of addiction.

Music can be the best company of human beings and it can create magic with the drug addicts. The addiction articles speak volume about the importance of lively music which can rejuvenate their distressful soul. Many people rely on sleeping pills. But frankly speaking, sleeping pills are of no or less use because they cannot remove addiction. But the sound of music is so rejuvenating that your mood will be enlivened instantly when you hear the music. Thus music is of great help for people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and other mental diseases.

It is true that addiction is also visible in upper class people and those who belong to the highest strata of the society have most number of addicts. The children of those people with no barrier on spending get addicted very easily. The addiction articles speak of the places (like the rehabilitation centers) where people can be rehabilitated.

They can also live among others in the society free of addiction and lead a normal life. The addiction articles are the means to show how these people may be rehabilitated and how they can again lead a normal life. Addiction is a common problem and needs to be removed from the society as a whole.
