Depression Diet Guide

Slide 2:

I am 27 years old 5′2”, and 153 lbs.I have gained a vey large amount of weight over the last two years due to a hellish work schedule, a chronich medical problem which is finally under control, and depression. I used to be happy and healthy and thin. I want to have more energy and feel better, lose weight and be confident again. I have been slowly adapting vegetarianism into my diet but still eat alot of cheese and carbs. My ultimate goal is to try veganism, so I want to cut out the vegetarian and go right for trying veganism.

Slide 3:

My question is: will this make me healthier, more energetic and skin and everything look better? Being as Im overweight, will it help me shed some pounds? I also joined a gym so I will be going 2 or 3 times a week. Serious answers only…..Thanks a bunch! The answer is YES.

Slide 4:

It is not impossible gain weight on a vegan diet, but since you will be going to a gym 2 or 3 times a week, the extra pounds will just fall off! A big plus by going vegan is cutting cheese out of your diet. This means less fat, less calories, better digestion and better skin.

Slide 5:

soy milk. There are some very sugary and fatty varieties available – avoid them there are some good “meat substitutes” and many bad ones available. Protein should have between 100 and 150 kCal per 100g. Check the label. If it has more, this means it is full of fat and nasties – avoid.

Slide 6:

Congratulations on your decision. I promise you’ll enjoy your new lifestyle. Food tastes so much better when the flavours are not masked with all the animal fat! This diet will definitely make you more energetic and healthier and happier! And the skin – not only my skin looks nicer since I became vegan, but also my periods are much less painful.
