Introduction :Introduction The Learning Survey is one of the most important research on training and education in Italy
The main aim of the Survey: benchmark the Italian (private and public) organizations with the best in class international companies to highlight new trends, ideas, methodologies. This year the research has been focused on Italian comapnies and public sector and on international corporations located in Italy.
Human Resources Vice Presidents, Chief Learning Officers, Heads of Corporate Universities responded to a questionnaire with 23 items and, in many cases, to an interview
The main results have been shared in the 6th Day of Management Education and published in various articles.
The Participants to the Survey :The Participants to the Survey ASFOR has selected a representative sample of 41 Italian organizations and multinational corporations based in Italy

SOME CONSIDERATIONS :SOME CONSIDERATIONS In the Italian organizations, there is a strong relationship between learning managers and line managers
But:
Many Italian organizations need to improve the integration between learning managers and top executives
At the same time, there is room to improve the integration among formal learning and HR methodologies and informal learning

Individual experts, coaches, e learning providers A growing number of Italian organizations prefer to involve deeper their colleagues to deliver training for many reasons: the knowledge is “embedded” in the company processes, to reduce expenses, to share best practices, etc.
The evaluation of training :The evaluation of training The Italian organizations are aware of the importance of the evaluation: many of them have integrated learning with performance evaluations and are testing the evaluation of ROI of learning
