The Scientific Programme will encourage analysis and debate on how science, technology and the humanities impact societies and their economies. Open discussions will examine science policy, and how research and science interact not only to meet but also to predict the needs of citizens and societies. In recognition of the increasing importance of science communication, the programme will also explore the interactions between researchers, the business community, and science journalists.
