Jane Longs family Jane Long was known as the mother of texas because of her 1st child.
Her father died in 1799 and all of the children moved around with there mother.
Her mother died in 1813 and jane moved with her sister barbra.
Jane and James :
Jane and James James long was on his way home from the battle of New Orleans home to Natchez.
That’s when he met Jane Herbert Wilkinson.
They were both married on May 14, 1815
