" Tahseen Cheema Hand Surgery Fellowship" at Bahawalpur: A Long Been Awaited Flight "Takes Off" Now Falak Sher Malik FCPS (Plast) Clinical Fellow Hand & Reconstructive Microvascular Surgery National Orthopaedic Hospital, Bahawalpur

PowerPoint Presentation:

It looks as everyone among the community of Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery had been waiting since long to one day hear this news: " Tahseen Cheema Hand Surgery Fellowship" at Bahawalpur: A Long Been Awaited Flight "Takes Off" Now, and it seems as the soil of Pakistan was waiting since long to see its son " Tahseen A. Cheema " rise back again but this time with "the candle of Hand Surgery in his hands" hoping to convert it to the full real "Sun" one day.

PowerPoint Presentation:

Isn't it wonderful that a nation of 180 millions is working hard days and nights with their hands without a single' proper Hand Surgery Setup' in their whole country which can take care of these hands' problems properly? Until recent, specialization in the field of Hand Surgery in Pakistan looked, at least for me, 'a dream-never coming true' but this dream really came true when the "Sun" of this soil, Professor Tahseen A. Cheema , Professor of Hand Surgery at New Mexico University, USA, (former Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Quaid -e- Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur) rose back again with the first of its own kind "Hand Surgery Fellowship Program" in his hands.

Background of Hand Surgery Services in Pakistan :

Background of Hand Surgery Services in Pakistan Not a single dedicated hand surgery unit in the public sector. Even Social Security Hospitals are not equipped with Hand Surgeons. Quite a few properly trained hand surgeons. . No protection protocols in industries. Haphazard traffic system Even the basic principles are being neglected
