Jesus founded the Church : 

Jesus founded the Church The Church is the great family of God.

Jesus chose twelve men : 

Jesus chose twelve men He called them His Apostles. They would become the columns of the Church. Like them, Jesus seeks each one of us so that we can follow Him.

Jesus chose Peter : 

Jesus chose Peter Jesus chose one, Simon, to be the head of the Apostles. Our Lord changed his name to Peter. The Pope is the successor of Peter.

Jesus called many disciples : 

Jesus called many disciples Many followed Jesus to listen to His words, and to see His miracles. They were people of all sorts: men and women; young and old; boys and girls; rich and poor; healthy and sick.

The Apostles preached the Gospel : 

The Apostles preached the Gospel The Apostles taught that Jesus rose from the dead; and that they have seen Him. They also did great miracles.

The Apostles baptized : 

The Apostles baptized Those who listened to them, and who saw His miracles could be baptized. They thus formed part of the Church. We form part of the Church since the day we were baptized.

The first Christians : 

The first Christians The first Christian were living like one great family, loving one another, and helping each other. La The Christians had one heart and one mind. They did not have needs, because the rich would sell their possessions, and distribute their goods, according to the needs of each one.

We Christians follow Jesus in the Church : 

We Christians follow Jesus in the Church Like the first Christians, we follow Jesus in the Church. The Church is a great family of God. The great number of Christians form part of the Church.

The Pope : 

The Pope The Pope is the successor of the Apostle Peter, and Bishop of Rome. He guides Christians in the name of Jesus. He is the “sweet Christ on earth.”

The Bishops : 

The Bishops Bishops are successors of the Apostles. They guide a portion of the Church.

The priests : 

The priests The priests are collaborators of bishops. They celebrate the Holy Mass, administer the sacraments, preach the Word of God, and guide men towards God.

The religious : 

The religious The religious are persons consecrated to God belonging to a religious order. They consecrate their life to God in many ways: contemplative life, Christian education, missions, care of the sick and the poor, etc.

The laity : 

The laity The laity are ordinary Christians who imitate Jesus in their family and their work. We all have the duty to love and follow Jesus and seek the holiness that He asks of us.

Jesus is present in the Church : 

Jesus is present in the Church “Jesus, listen to our prayers and accept all that we offer You. Help us to be united to You, to the Pope and the Bishops. May we not separate ourselves from Your love. Amen.””. THE END
