Tinnitus Treatments Top 15 Tinnitus Relief Solutions – By Real Tinnitus Sufferers

Slide 2:

Millions of Americans suffer from constant ringing in the ears. Sometimes tinnitus goes away without treatment; sometimes it takes a few months and sometimes – much longer. Talking to tinnitus sufferers made me realize how much time and energy they spend on finding tinnitus treatments and causes that never tried or heard of before. They will try anything to put an end to the awful noise in their ears.

Slide 3:

In a real effort to save you a lot of time (and money), I decided to collect evidence and success stories of tinnitus sufferers and how they managed to get relief or even cure their ear ringing. Hope this helps and gives you hope!

Tinnitus Treatments by Real People :

Tinnitus Treatments by Real People 1. Fill your world with sounds . Become a music person. If not music, than talk, anything in the background helps. Try a Zen like water fountain in your home, which works great too. You can sea sounds at night to help you sleep. Get a sound machine and play cricket sounds or ocean sounds. This will let you fall asleep.

Slide 5:

2.  Practice meditation . Silent meditation can do wonders for tinnitus (and any other health problem). Doing this can help you to hear the tinnitus sound objectively, recognize it and acknowledge it. Then you can move on in a more mindful way.

Slide 6:

3. Ban artificial sweeteners and MSG from your diet. I can’t tell you how many stories I read about people curing their tinnitus (even after 10 years!) after eliminating artificial sweeteners and MSG from their food.  These substances can also cause dizziness. You must avoid it completely (no more Chinese food orders!) and it takes a few weeks to work, but it could be the reason for your tinnitus!

Slide 7:

4. Exposure to carbon monoxide – This is reported to be a potential cause for ringing in ears. Anyone with a gas stove or kerosene heater in their home or going to the garage with your car running to get warm in this cold weather can cause ringing in the ears. Also, if you started smoking much more before the ringing started should be aware that it could be the sudden raise in carbon monoxide that triggered your tinnitus.

Slide 8:

5. Do not go to concerts without hearing protection . Do not be exposed to loud sounds (like construction sites) at all. Do not listen to your music player at excessive volume. 6. Don’t let tinnitus become a part of your personality . Don’t allow yourself to spend all day worrying and thinking about it. Many people have noticed that spending too much time on tinnitus forums actually makes their ringing worse! The idea is to stop thinking about it and not concentrate on it at all.

Slide 9:

7. Don’t wear ear plugs where ever you go . Excessive use of ear plugs can make tinnitus worse and lead to hyperacusis. 8. Tinnitus homeopathy – I was surprised to find a few people having success with homeopathy treatment for the ringing in their ears (I was surprised because I don’t really believe in it…); the product they mentioned was Tinnitus Control .

Slide 10:

9 . A few people that suffer from poor blood circulation in the ear reported some relief using a product called Native Remedies TinnaRex . It contains homeopathic ingredients and herbs such as Ginko Biloba, Rosmarinus officinale, Verbena officinalisis and Salicylic ac (30C).

Slide 11:

10. A little known cause for tinnitus is the alignment of your jaw and upper neck. These can be checked by your doctor and treated (watch out from chiropractic adjustments – people are testifying that it makes tinnitus worse!).  To support your neck better, use a thick pillow at night. That way, the slight “cracking” of the joints doesn’t shock the inner ear and trigger tinnitus for a day or days on end.

Slide 12:

11 . Dental Work – The other thing that I found out was that dental work (like root canals) or grinding your teeth can cause tinnitus. Could this be the reason for yours? 12 . Searching for feedbacks on Amazon , I found some positive feedback about NaturalCare Ringstop and Lipoflavonoid Plus Caplets

Slide 13:

13. Aspirin – There are many people reporting that Aspirin makes tinnitus much worse . Try to avoid this medication as much as you can. 14 . More than a few people discovered that their tinnitus was caused by a lack of vitamin B12 . They all recommended the Lozenge Sublingual Form rather than buying the tablet form since B12 is absorbed into the body better under the tongue than through the stomach. Dissolve the lozenge by placing it under your tongue for a couple minutes.

Slide 14:

15. Last but not least – The majority of success stories I have found had one major thing in common: Significant lifestyle changes . A certain diet (mostly eliminating things like coffee, diet soda, sugar etc), exercising regularly, eliminating alcohol (makes tinnitus much worse!) and sleeping properly -  All of these have brought a dramatic relief to the majority of tinnitus success stories I have found all around the web.

Slide 15:

If you want to save a lot of time researching it yourself, I recommend a book that gives you step by step lifestyle changes to cure tinnitus holistically – Read my review about it – Right Here!
