The Science Fair begins with support and vision of The Hartford Times 1949

1950 : 

Albert Prince takes Connecticut students to the first-ever National Science Fair 1950

1964 : 

The Connecticut Science Fair incorporates as a nonprofit 1964

1974 : 

The Board begins to enlist more support from industry and academia 1974

1985 : 

The Fair increases affiliations to the International Science and Engineering Fair. Four CT students attend annually. 1985

1999 : 

Alumni are recruited to take a more active role in the fair 1999

2003 : 

For the 4th year in the past 5, a Connecticut student takes 1st Place overall at the International Science and Engineering Fair. 2003
