Why Parties Are Important : Why Parties Are Important For the successful Consultant, conducting a party is equivalent to going to the office: that’s where all the real work gets done: It’s where you earn your commissions (current income) It’s where you book future parties (future income) It’s your most productive source of serious Consultant candidates! (greater income potential) Fortunately, FM parties are fun, easy, and rewarding, so it’s not that hard to get new bookings. Ask Everyone! : Ask Everyone! Ask everyone on your Networking List Ask every Guest at every one of your parties. Don’t pre-judge! Ask everyone. Ask the people you meet as you go about your daily routine. What about the woman seated next to you at the hair salon? Host Coaching Kit : Host Coaching Kit You can assemble aHost Coaching Kit as follows: 2-3 catalogs 6 order forms for pre-party(outside) orders Your business card Business Brochure Fragrance Chart 1 Envelope or Folderto hold them Your goal : Your goal Your goal in Host coaching is simple: work with your Host to invite 20 people. That’s it! If you do that,everything else follows: According to industry averages,10 people will attend,and everyone wins! Begin 14 Days in Advance : Begin 14 Days in Advance Find the house Get to know your Host better Plan where the display will be Advise your host that they only need to provide very simple refreshments, i.e. tea, coffee, cookies for the guests, possibly wine as well. Build the invitation list Give Your Host a Free Fragrance : Give Your Host a Free Fragrance Help your host to choose their favorite FM fragrance and give them a free sample to wear prior to the party. It will give them more confidence in the high quality of our fragrances. Host Rewards : Host Rewards Let your host know what you are going to give them as a reward for the sales and bookings generated from the party. Whatever you decide to reward your host is up to you. The usual would be Calculate the total sales from the party. Reward your Host with FREE product equal to 10% of the total. Also, you should reward him/her for each booking from the party. In this case, another free bottle of fragrance might be appropriate. Considering each party might well earn you $150-250 it is very worthwhile to reward your host for helping you to get more parties. One word of caution: give the reward once each booked party has actually taken place. Outside Orders : Outside Orders Leave some catalogs (and a spare samples kit if you have one) with your hostess for them to show those who cannot come. Tell your host to ask those who are unable to come if they would like to place an order anyway, as any sales that they can generate for you before the party will count towards the party total. Your host should be asking everyone if they would like to have a party themselves. Make a Sponsoring Bid : Make a Sponsoring Bid Mention to your host that you are looking for more people who would like to earn some extra money by becoming an FM Cosmetics consultant. Ask if they know anyone who might be interested. This third party question gives them the chance as well to say "Yes, me!" The Final Step : The Final Step Three days before the party you should give the host a call to check everything is ok and see how many people they have coming. This gives time for you to again suggest more people to invite if not many are coming. Ask the host as well to make sure those who have said yes know not to wear perfume to the party. This also acts as a way of the host reminding the people about the party. Ask everyone to bring a friend. Slide 13: You on on your way CONGRATULATIONS to a successful party! It is illegal for a promoter or participant in a trading scheme to persuade anyone to make a payment by promising benefits from getting others to join a trading scheme.
