As you can tell in each and everyone of these pictures that we are happy. And we have had millions of happy times. Between being silly, being serious, having children, and being married. I once heard a wonderful saying “Look, I guarantee there’ll be tough times. I guarantee that at some point, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don’t ask you to be mine, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you’re the only one for me”. I know we love each other and we are happy, right now we are hitting rough spot and though patience, faith, prayer and above most of all love it will work out to eternity.

You know how I have told you once a while ago I was thankful that you found a job that you LOVE and enjoy doing, and that I wanted something that I enjoyed doing as much as you did. Well I have…..being a wife of a military man who is proud of the service is doing for his country, and family. Also being a mother, something that I never-ever imagined I would enjoy as much as I do. As I told you before, I would stay and wait for you if you are gone 18 seconds, 18 minutes, 18 weeks or even 18 months to show you that I love you and support you. I will be ok if you go just know I will wait. Just knowing you love me, will get me though anything no matter how much sorrow or hurt there might be. When you go and I get a visit telling me that you are gone. I will be proud of the sacrifice you have lead to love, and protect me and your children.

Remember that I Gave myself to you, when I covenanted to be with you to eternity. And I have been thinking about how we looked when we looked at each other in the mirrors in the temple. You make me happy when you make jokes, when you act crazy and most of all when you tell me you love me. Material things don’t matter to me, I would sell everything and live under a bridge if we had to just to be with you. Having you love me and in my life as a husband is what truly makes me happy.

I want to tell you something that I have never told you before. Before I started working at Convergys and of course before I meet you I wrote down a list of qualities that I wanted in a husband. There was a list of about 20. I remember that the first like six were very important to me…they were had to love his family, love the gospel, love to serve others, love children, have a sense of humor and make me smile. There were other ones but these were the most important, and I remember the last one on the list was gone on a mission. A few days later after I wrote that list, I prayed about it and crossed of gone on a mission off my list because I knew that the one that I would marry would not have served a mission. Then of course about a month later I saw you. I remember the feeling when I first saw you, a feeling that has never left me, it was like you were my best friend, someone that would love me and someone who I knew before.:

The last thing I want to share with you is my testimony. I know that God lives, I know He is always there. I know if I ask for His guidance He will walk hand and hand with me. I know life is not easy, I know we have trails for a reason we don’t know why but we do. I know with out a doubt that Gordon B. Hinckley is a prophet of the Lord and that Joseph Smith restored the gospel. I know if we follow His commandments and His request we will be on the right hand of Him. I know He is with me daily, sometimes I forget that but I know He is there. I know that my children were heaven sent, to remind me patience, remind me kindness, love and most of all of the love that we share. I know I made covenants to you and the Lord when we got married. I willingly gave myself to you. And I will strive to keep you happy. I am very proud of you and I love you with all my heart. I want you to know I am willing to give up my family and friends to make you happy daily.:

Forgiveness for every single thing I have ever done to you. And in return I forgive you for every hurtful word you have said to me, every thing that has upset me. I never want to be mad at you or have you mad at me. I know my actions over the last year or so have not been something I have been proud of and I know I could have chosen to act a different way but I didn’t. I am coming to you with a sincere heart and a humble heart asking for your forgiveness.
