ABOUT ME :

ABOUT ME Hi, my name is Fernando Urdaneta. I'm Twenty one years old. I'm a student of mass communication at URBE and medicine at LUZ. I live close to both universities. My favorite food is hamburgers, my favorite singer is Ricardo Cepeda. I like listening to music, and chatting online. I’m from Maracaibo city. What I do on my free time is going to the Dentist and Doctor, going shopping, nothing really special, because of my university which doesn’t let me have enough time to do other things.

UNIT I: All About Me :

UNIT I: All About Me I've had different relationships, I have many friends and classmates at the two universities. I’m not working right now, so I have no relationships in this field. I don’t have a girlfriend at the moment, but maybe soon. The possibility of having one is getting closer (we are in the process). I will probably have many colleagues, to graduate with. I have many memories of my life as a student, including those at school. Good times those days that will never come back, what a shame. All of them were recorded in pictures and videos that sometimes we use to watch. Marco Tulio is My Best Friend Everyone in my future colleagues will Doris Molero is My Teacher English

UNIT II: Let’s Eat! :

UNIT II: Let’s Eat! Maracaibo is a city with people who have a preference for fatty foods. These include: Pastelitos, Tequeños, Tumbarranchos, Mandonca. I am a great maracucho, i like pastelitos "EDWAR" and empanadas "AMILQUITA" Traditional food places in the city. Whoever comes to the city they are all recommend because they are delicious.

UNIT III: Unsolved Mysteries :

UNIT III: Unsolved Mysteries The Silbon is an urban leyend of the Venezuelan plains. Those who have seen it (and survived) say he’s a man anatomically disproportionate, very tall and slender, measuring about six feet tall, and while moving above the treetops, it emits a whistle that chills the blood. Legend has it that the banshee is in pain because of a son who was very spoiled and killed his father, so his mother cursed him for life. His brother John followed him with a "foreman", and he sprinkled the wounds with hot pepper, and train a dog called "Tureco" until the end of the world would haunt him and he would bite his heels while carrying a sack of bones of his father. The Silbon, attacks men and especially the ones who are drunk, to take their spirits by sucking their navels. "If you feel very strong whistle, is that far away, but if it's the reverse, is right behind you. To save, remind what happened "....

UNIT IV: Today’s Trends :

UNIT IV: Today’s Trends Today marabina families are very modern and the youth is only worried about being in fashion. These families are numerous, up to four members mostly. Talking a little bit about fashion, consumerism statistics guide us throughout the city of Maracaibo in comparison with other cities, although not belonging to our region. Among these, the use of cell phones, computers, and other entertainment devices.

UNIT V: In the Neighborhood :

UNIT V: In the Neighborhood Different activities that people in maracaibo do in daily life, personal errands, social, employment, professional, commercial. The maracucho leader of a family has all these responsibilities, like being the economical support at home, which includes water, gas, electricity, and personal consumption, such as cable TV and Internet payment. Then there are the personal errands such as shopping, going to the doctor, go to the hairdresser, grocery stores, to the bank, and stuffs. These are the most common running errands that Maracaibo residents usually do.

UNIT VI: Student Life :

UNIT VI: Student Life Maracaibero student life, it is not easy. After finishing high school, has a tough task of choices in the admission process to enter in one of the most prestigious public universities in Venezuela, La Universidad del Zulia. There are others, but they are private, and some maracaiberos have not enough money to pay them. Some of the admission requirements for college are the college degree, notes from high school, and pre-register three careers, who are in the list of options of the test results of your internal career. However, there are educational programs of the regional government to study at private universities in the region. That's maracaibero fortune.

REFLECTIONS Small experiences were good with my group. We have finished the last English level. It was fun to use new tools to learn. Thank you teacher for making this such a nice and wonderful experience. Do not ever stop dreaming, the dreamer has a great future ahead…
