Will Freeman: Will has never had a job in his life.His father wrote a Christmas song which is very popular.After his father had dead,the royalties came to Will.He had an easy life with no job or wife.But when he met with Marcus, his life changed.

Marcus: He was an unusual twelve-year-old boy with serious problems.His parents had separated four years ago.He has just wanted to see his mother happy.So he thought Will could marry with his mother Fiona.

Marcus met with Will at the SPAT’s picnic.Will was trying to have relationship with Suzie who was Fiona’s friend.Will told lie about himself.He had a son named Ned.When they returned from picnic they found Fiona lying on the floor with pills.She tried to kill herself.After that day Marcus thought Will could marry with his father.He had visited Will after the school .

Will knew that he had to help Marcus.He went out with Marcus and Fiona.But Fiona and Will didn’t like each other much.Fiona didn’t want to go Marcus to his flat.But Marcus didn’t care and he didn’t stop visiting Will.

A few months passed and Will helped to Marcus to change his appearance.By the time he was seeing a girl named Rachel.After a month he started fall in love with her.
