US EPA Environmental Technology Validation (ETV) program:

The GC/SAW electronic nose participated in the program, that performed flash chromatography, VaporPrint ™ imaging, and configuration of custom sensor arrays with user defined alarm levels . zNose ® delivered 10 second chromatograms using a patented Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor. It also operated in both the environments - on field as well as in the laboratory. A low-cost GPS receiver for accurately recording the location of each measurement was also integrated as an option.
