About Participation at the Dubai Christmas Festival is a chance for ESF to associate with the target consumer base of Dubai. ESF benefits from participation for the following reasons: The event runs once a year and attracts over 20,000 consumers during the Christmas shopping period Exhibitors are permitted to sell at this consumer event The event is held at the popular outdoor venue of Dubai Media City Amphitheatre The event targets the same consumer base of our selected brands There are numerous features designed to attract consumers There are numerous branding, marketing and promotional opportunities Participating companies attract additional consumers (includes clients, competitors)

Target Consumers The attendees of the festival are those targeted by ESF brands: Families , couples, friends, groups, adults and kids enjoying festive delights High end individuals Expats 40:60 Male to F emale ratio Affluent and sociable

Marketing Coverage:

Marketing Coverage The Dubai Christmas Festival runs a fully-integrated marketing & PR Campaign for in the lead up to the event. This campaign reaches the masses via schools, embassies, media and word of mouth. P re-event ticket sales promoted with radio , online, print and direct mail plus the incentivized advanced ticket packages. Partnerships with titles including Time Out Dubai, Gulf News, plus broadcasters ARN, online communities such as Expat Woman and one of the major cinema chains. Hotels will assist with spreading the Festival Spirit amongst their guests and members. Email Databases in the UAE are invaluable and thanks to the consumer division of Turret Media Banner adverts in Time Out, BBC Good Food, Abu Dhabi Week, exhibitor and sponsor sites. Facebook and Twitter – maintain a high level of contact with the public via social networking sites – competitions, adverts and google adwords .

ESF Stall: Christmas Delights:

ESF Stall: Christmas Delights The ESF stall benefitted from being directly on the greens of the festival. The stall was a 3X4 meter squared tent, open on the two sides where there was most consumer traffic The stall was attended by four ESF promoters and manager.

Branding: Stall Title banner of Emirates Snack Foods “Christmas Delights” Side banners of the tent listed all participating principal brand logos Some brands had stand up banners relating to retail products Banners included festive Christmas icons Exhibitors were also offered branding around and outside venue

Branding: Placement Products inside the stall were distributed on two tables, and three shelves Every brand had two placards with logos Placard was placed prominently with products Chiller was also available in the stall to ensure products were preserved

Branding: Sampling Limited sampling was available at the stall These products were given to customers who purchased, or to attract attention.

Entertainment:

Entertainment The event was had a central stage on the greens where there was an endless program of shows, musicals and concerts to enjoy. These shows featured: Children Pantomimes Musicals Santa Visits Bands Choirs Comedy/Clown Acts

Features Christmas Workshops – gift ideas, tree decorating tips, crafts - table settings Giant Christmas Tree & lighting ceremony Christmas Cookery School Entertainment Stage Bandstand featuring carol singing and a gospel choir Santa’s Grotto Christmas Market – exclusive seasonal concessions
