Premium member Presentation Transcript Adobe Premiere Pro CS4: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Editing processPowerPoint Presentation: To create our trailer we used the Adobe package ‘Premiere Pro CS4’ and ‘After Effects SC4’. To make the trailer look professional we spent a long time editing both during lessons and after school and are happy with what we have achieved. The images on the up coming slides were taken during production and do not represent the final product. The screen shots are merely to show you the process we took to cerate the trailer. EnterPowerPoint Presentation: This is our canvas during production and as you can see we have already included videos and sound into the timeline. At this stage we need to add titles (that have already been made) and the finer details such as volume control.PowerPoint Presentation: To add videos into our timeline we imported them from the SD card that we used during filming. Then with the over 100 videos we had to watch them all and place them on the timeline where they should be. The information given shows us the duration; frame rate; name and volume of each video making it easier for us to find the one’s that we needed.PowerPoint Presentation: Our next stage was to edit the raw footage into acceptable shots that we could comfortable work with. To do this we ‘cut’ the footage with the slice tool found on the left hand side of the canvas. This tool allowed us to cut video footage and delete the unwanted extra footage. As shown below with both the sound and video footage.PowerPoint Presentation: Once we had all out stock footage placed onto the timeline we then had to add effects to video in order to create that noir atmosphere. Premiere Pro comes packed with effects and transitions that we could have chosen from to add something unique to our trailer. To the left is one specific effects that we used on nearly all our videos but on it’s own it doesn’t do anything but when combined with other’s it makes the video dark and atmospheric. The effects that we added to our videos were: Motion Opacity Time Remapping Black and White Colour Balance (RGB) Colour Emboss Luma Key Shadow/HighlightPowerPoint Presentation: After we finished the main bulk of editing we had to add the music in. We did this by importing the selected file and lowering the volume at certain points during the trailer. To lower the volume we double clicked the selected sound and dragged a cursor to a point around ‘-6.5’ this was the point at which the sound was steal loud enough the slightly hear but it didn’t interfere with the dialogue on the video. This is the entire sound on the selected video. It shows how loud it is and as it appears, it is quite loud.PowerPoint Presentation: One of the final steps needed to be done is the rendering of the trailer and this is done by selecting the video’s and pressing enter. This process can take up to some time but we rendered as we went along so the process was a lot easier and less time consuming in the end. To get to the point that the trailer is finished we still have a long way to go. However this is just to show how we have got to where we are and what we have done to the original footage to make it look like it does now. You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
