Final Weapon The weapon we choose to have in our final film was an every day household knife. This became the most obvious choice to both of us shortly after completing our weapon research. A knife is easy to obtain especially as both of us have sharp knives in our kitchens at home and therefore it was only the matter of what knife to actually choose. We had a choice between: butter knives; steak knives; a meat cleaver and a bread knife. The fact that we had such a large choice in knives made it more of an obvious choice as we already had the prop and only needed to dress it in fake blood The murder weapon fits in with the genre and time period as many homes obviously had these sorts of knives in them and therefore would make for a good murder weapon. Final Weapon The weapon above is a steak knife which will be used in several shots during our trailer to indicate that it is the weapon the murderer uses. The knife is sharp and we are responsible enough to use it safely without anybody being hurt at all
