Slide 2: It wasn’t the distribution part… It was what to WRITE Slide 3: What could I have to say that people would really want to hold on to? To remember for longer than one moment beyond their own narcissistic wants and “needs.” Slide 4: Cater to them. Slide 6: I was having a terrible day I So I wrote things I would never consider saying to people and that people would never say to my face but that I’m sure people have thought, and that In many cases would have saved the listener a lot of unnecessary stress to actually hear. Slide 8: II wrote these things out in a total of ten minutes. and printed them off for a total of $1.67 and borrowed a camera from a friend of a friend and asked friends and strangers to hold them up as truths and as their own. Slide 12: I had no idea just how EAGER and Emphatic Some people are to hide their faces behind others’ brutal honesty. Slide 17: your Slide 28: He wasn’t the only one willing to reveal his body, either. Slide 30: I told him I preferred him NOT to show his nipple. $1 PBR’s don’t exactly teach LISTENING Slide 33: Especially popular… Facebook references. Slide 37: Cell phone etiquette… Slide 41: And general friend/sex partner/relationship Bullshit. Slide 58: But these people were not enough for me! I needed an audience Slide 59: One that was not willing One that would take these words… and FEEL them. Slide 60: So with the help of these fine cats (and a discounted bar tab promising a free round of beer and shots…) Slide 62: We spread the word. Slide 65: I may have ruined several people’s nights… Slide 66: Had I not self-promoted on the back of each flyer. Slide 67: And so, in the end, I am neither ashamed nor embarrassed.
